As part of its community engagement,  Isla Echague sponsored the Bilateral Training for Skills Enhancement and Basic Life Savings conducted by United States Army Civil Service Affairs in partnership with the Philippine Coastguard Auxiliary, 405th Auxiliary Squadron on February 2-4 in Barangay Corong-Corong,  El Nido, Palawan.

The training which was attended by Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons aimed to give the youth the knowledge to become first responders of their own community if a need arises. Isla Echague has been a constant advocate for safety and environmental protection of El Nido and saw this event as a chance to further its advocacy of a safer,  healthier and peaceful El Nido.
