Barangay Bebeladan Officials headed by Honorable Chairman Antonio D. Cabesas Jr. signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Isla Echague and also graced the first ever tree planting activity in Isla Echague property.
The MOU is made to honor the importance of a stronger community partnership between Isla Echague and Barangay Bebeladan as well as to promote the advocacy of Isla Echague for a cleaner, greener and healthier environment.
Isla Echague chose to provide coconut seedlings to represent life.
The Coconut Tree is called the "Tree of Life" because all the parts of the entire tree--from top to bottom--are used to sustain human life and known as the most useful tree in the world, and like coconut, our partnership with the community aimed to help sustain life for everyone including our forest.
The tree planting event yesterday, April 12, 2021 was first in Isla Echague that involved the Barangay Bebeladan Officials.
In Isla Echague, we don't just think green. We live green!
